Burgess Hill Town FC Beer Festival + Royal Wedding & F.A Cup Final On The Big Screen

14th May 2018
By Peter Chapman

Burgess Hill Town Football Club will be hosting their popular Beer Festival this Saturday while celebrating the Royal Wedding and the F.A Cup Final - both of which will be shown on the big screen in the clubhouse. There will be bunting!

The entertainment will continue on into the evening as local band Guilty Pleasures will be performing.

Activities for the children will be provided in the afternoon by Plaster 2 Paint, so there's no excuse not to bring the whole family along.

Beers, Ciders, Gins and Wine
There will be a great selection of British Ales including local ones from Long Man, Dark Star and Hammerpot. Ones from further afield include Bude Brewery (Cornwall) Cheddar Ales (Somerset) Great Heck (Goole). There will be over a dozen ales at the event.

Award-winning ciders from Seasider (Ditchling) and Dreymans Cider (Nutbourne) will also be available, along with 15 local gins, wines and sparkling wines

As well as the festival drinks, the normal bar will be open and hot food and snacks will be available throughout the day.

BHTFC Bar Manager Dave Bradbury said:
We're really looking forward to a great day, celebrating the many ales and spirits crafted from producers both local and further afield along with the grand spectacle of the Royal Wedding and the finale of the world's oldest cup competition. We'll keep on going into the evening with live music from Guilty Pleasures who will round off the event with a great selection of covers.

Entry to the festival costs just £5 and includes your first drink free.

Spread the word, the Burgess Hill Town FC Summer Beer Festival is taking place this weekend!
