12th April 2018
By Peter Chapman

CarpetRight in Burgess Hill is to close as part of a nationwide restructuring of its business.

Located on London Road next to Halfords, Burgess Hill CarpetRight is among 92 of the 400 branches to close with an estimated loss of 300 jobs.

The chain is planning a company voluntary arrangement (CVA) which will see the closure of their under-performing stores while asking for a rent reduction on another 113 branches.
