Former Icon Live Building Is Going 'Continental'

18th April 2019 | By Peter Chapman

A big name is coming to the Victoria Industrial Estate with the news that  tyre and automotive component manufacturer 'Continental' have signed a 25 year lease to move into number 2 York Road in Burgess Hill.

The premises was previously occupied by 'Icon Live' and features 15,300 sq ft of space on the ground floor for industrial and warehouse use along with 4,700 sq ft of office space on the first floor.

The building was being marketed with a yearly rent of £125k annum.

Icon Live went into administration at the end of 2016 with the loss of over 80 jobs. Icon's other unit on the Industrial Estate was taken over by 'Jump In' the inflatable Theme Park last year.

A planning application has been submitted to Mid Sussex District Council, seeking approval for new branded signage to be erected on the building.
