The Maple Drive Community Fayre Needs You!

23rd January 2019 | By Peter Chapman

The Maple Drive Community Group Committee are seeking new members as they look to grow their Summer fayre which has proved very popular over the last two years.

The committee meet one a month at Burgess Hill Town Football Club to plan for the fayre and are in need more enthusiastic people who want to make a difference and to bring the community together.

The group are particularly lacking in younger members and seek their perspective on future events.

Help is also needed to secure grants and sponsorhip for next year's event with the group looking to the local business community to help sponsor the event so that they can build on the success of 2018's event.

For those who can't give a regular commitment, the group are also looking for people to offer practical help on the day of the event which for 2019 is scheduled to be Saturday June 15th.

The fayre is organised to benefit the whole community with a range of activities and entertainment to cater for all ages. The attractions and concession stands are kept as low-cost as possible. If you have an attraction that you think is suitable for the event then the organisers would love to hear from you too.

For all enquiries, please contact Karen Taylor - committee chairman, via email: mapledrivecommunitygroup@gmail.com
