Video: Dangerous Lidl Construction Site Left Unsecured

A stunning lack of management at the dangerous Lidl construction site has seen the land freely accessible for anyone to walk around and to play around on some large construction vehicles.



A resident of Leylands Road reportedly saw children on the land on Monday evening where there's a large drop into the north east corner where the gas holder once stood.

The fence being left open is thought to have occured when a portable building was removed from the site earlier in the day. You can make your own assumptions as to why the fence was not closed behind them.



Someone with a camera took the opportunity to get the following footage from the site:


We hope to receive an update on the situation from Mid Sussex District Council's planning department and will update this story accordingly.
