martlets shopping centre burgess hillH&M, TK Maxx and Wildwood Restaurant Set To Feature In Martlets Redevelopment

19th June 2017
by Peter Chapman

It appears that another trio of businesses have been revealed as forming part of the Martlets Shopping Centre redevelopment.

Clothing retailers TK Maxx and H&M along with restaurant Wildwood all appeared on the NewRiver retail website if a post on our Facebook page from 'Gruffy Picnic' is to be believed.

Since the post was made last month, the names of the businesses have disappeared, replaced with the wording 'under offer'. This would suggest that NewRiver Retails jumped the gun before everything was officially signed.

According to the layout for the new centre on the NewRiver Retail website, Wildwood restaurant will be located next to Nando's which will be opposite New Look and the proposed entrance to Cineworld which will be immediately to the right of New Look.

H&M
will go alongside Next in the row of units facing the car park where Papa Johns and the Martlets Hall are currently. Above this will be Cineworld.

TK Maxx is going on the site of the multi storey car park.

Other clues from the Martlets layout is that Argos are moving into a large unit facing onto Church Walk which takes in the Euronics centre and that row of empty shops which end at the dressmakers.

Millets will leave their current location, with the unit being combined with the St Peter and St James' charity shop to form a larger space.

A lot of the plans will very much be 'subject to change' but take a look here to see how the plans for the Martlets redevelopment are shaping up... http://www.nrr.co.uk/portfolio/properties/burgess-hill

Spread the word, plans for the Martlets Shopping Centre are gathering pace
