martlets Burgess HillNandos and Primark Top Public's 'Most Wanted' List For Burgess Hill Town Centre Revamp

17th September 2015
By Peter Chapman

Following the announcement that Mid Sussex District Council have decided to accept NewRiver Retail's proposals for the £65 million revamp of the Martlets shopping precinct (subject to planning permission) We thought we'd ask the people which chains they'd like to see arrive as part of the redevelopment.

One of the intentions of NewRiver Retail is to increase the night-time economy, we know that restuarants will be a feature.

There will also be a number of new shops. It comes as no surprise that clothes shops are at the top of everyone's wishlist.

We asked the members of the Burgess Hill Uncovered Facebook page to let us know which restaurants and fashion retailers they'd like to see come to Burgess Hill. Maybe NewRiver Retail will take note? Here are the results:

It looks like if the public's wishes are granted, then you'll see alot of people gorging on chicken while wearing cheap threads. What a time to be alive!

Results will be updated as more votes come in.

Did you find the results interesting? Perhaps you'd like to give them a share?
