Perhaps one of the most misleadingly named shops in the town is the Man Shop.

Think of a shop for men and you would imagine: Cars, Computers, Aftershave, Alcohol, Pornographic magazines and lots of Meat!
But the Burgess Hill Man Shop could be more appropriately named Suit Hire and School Uniform Shop!

The Man Shop does great business in the summer months when new comers to Oakmeeds get kitted out with jumpers, shirts, ties and the now legendary reversible rugby top! The Oakmeeds School prom is another event that sees a surge in this shops takings.

Rumour has it that there is a small collection of men's clothes hidden in the store somewhere, but with the lack of dwarfs in the town, those clothes must be collecting a lot of dust.
