The Junction Inn Public House was burnt to the ground and replaced with a Co-op convenience store along with 26 new apartments and houses in 2014.

Woodlands Meed Special Educational Need Scholl was built on the ground of Oakmeeds Community College. The Project begain in 2011 and was finished for September 2012
