Burgess Hill will once again be celebrating Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day in the town. Here are the event details you need to know.
Thursday 11 November 2021
On Armistice Day, Thursday 11th November, Town Councillors, Royal British Legion Colour Party, Town Council Staff and local school children will march from the Help Point in Church Walk to the War Memorial commencing at 10.50 hours.
This will be followed by 2 minutes silence at 11.00 hours, after which there will be a short ceremony to remember all the animals that served, suffered and died alongside the British, Commonwealth and Allied forces in the wars and conflicts of the 20th Century.

Remembrance Sunday
Sunday 14th November, will see the Remembrance Day Parade and Service at Church Walk in the Town Centre.
The traditional march to the War Memorial will commence at 10.25 hours (all meet from 10.15 hours) from Cyprus Road Car Park and the laying of wreaths will take place in the normal way.
An outdoor memorial service will then be held at the same location instead of using St Johns Church (Covid-19 reasons)
