Alexandra Heminsley, Sunday Times top ten bestselling author, ghostwriter and broadcaster will be appearing at Burgess Hill Library to talk about ‘everything you wanted to know about running and swimming but were afraid to ask’.
Alex has interviewed Jessica Ennis, Paula Radcliffe, and Kyle Edmund, appeared regularly on BBC Radio 2 and has been nominated for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award.
She will be at the library on Wednesday the 11th of March, talking about her two books, Running Like a Girl and Leap In, and the link between exercise and good mental health.
Audience members will have the opportunity to ask Alex further questions and her books will be available to purchase on the night.
The event is part of West Sussex Libraries’ Wellbeing Month, a campaign that is running across March, with lots of books and activities to promote the five ways to wellbeing.
The new Burgess Hill Library opened its doors in December 2019. The contemporary space and modern flexible shelving allow for an improved area for author events such as this one.
