BURGESS HILL DISTRICT LIONS BRINGS 70’S BAND CHICORY TIP BACK TO BURGESS HILL.

Saturday 3rd September, 8pm (Doors 7:15pm), Martlets Hall, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 9NN

The Burgess Hill District Lions & local business Steve Willis Training are bringing the 70’s band CHICORY TIP to the Martlets Hall, Burgess Hill on Saturday 3rd September 2016 to raise some much needed funds for Burgess Hill Youth Club.

The Burgess Hill District Lions work tirelessly in the local area raising funds for various community based groups and Steve Willis Training were delighted to get involved when the opportunity arose to sponsor the 3rd September event. This is the fifth year that Steve Willis Training have sponsored this event and supported the activities of the Burgess Hill District Lions in this way.

Steve Willis Training delivers a programme of gas, electrical, plumbing & oil courses to the Building Engineering Services sector from two purpose built Centres in Burgess Hill and Portsmouth as well as gas, electrical and plumbing apprenticeships to young people.

With in excess of 200 young people currently on apprenticeship programmes at their Centres, Steve Willis Training saw a strong link between the work of the Burgess Hill Youth Club with local young people and the overall aims of The Burgess Hill District Lions.

Steve Willis, MD of Steve Willis Training said: “As a lifelong resident of Burgess Hill I know from first hand experience the importance of community clubs and groups for local people. The Burgess Hill Youth Club provided me a structured, fun environment in my youth and I’m very pleased that my business is now supporting this club through the work of the Burgess Hill District Lions”.

Tickets to the Chicory Tip event on Saturday 3rd September are only £10 and can be booked by calling 01444 243003. Doors open 7.15 for 8pm, there will be reserved cabaret seating, a Licensed Bar and Super Raffle.
