Burgess Hill Choral Society Spring Concert

Saturday 25th April,The King’s Church, 33-35 Victoria Road, Burgess Hill RH15 9LR

Brahms: Eine Deutsches Requiem
Beethoven: Symphony No. 6 in F major “Pastoral”

Brahms himself would have preferred to call the work ‘a Human Requiem’ and intended it primarily as a consolation and comfort for the living and bereaved. It became the central and possibly most profound and moving work of his career.

Burgess Hill Choral Society performs to a high standard. The concert features soloists from the Royal College of Music and a full concert orchestra. Mike Wood, our Musical Director and Conductor, is the charismatic MC for this event. Refreshments served during interval.

TICKET PRICES: £14 (concessions £12: students/over-60s/under-16s), accompanied under-16s free.

TICKETS AVAILABLE on the door OR from Burgess Hill Help Point (from about six weeks before the concert) OR from Di Tipler (dialtipler@hotmail.co.uk and 01444 239535) OR from choir members.

The concert venue is a short taxi trip or 25 minute walk from Burgess Hill main line railway station. Car parking is available at the venue and on nearby streets. The venue has disabled access.
