To celebrate 30 years of broadcasting across the county, BBC Radio Sussex were visiting a different town every day during the month of September. On Wednesday 11th it was the turn of Burgess Hill and naturally, BBC Radio Sussex asked Mr BHU to pop along to Waitrose Car Park to speak to their reporter Simon Jenkins.
Was handing Peter Chapman a live microphone and access to an audience of 250,000 a good idea given his dislike of certain figures and local councils?

Life passes for the cinema and Apollo lasertag will surely be arriving at the BHU offices any day now. Unfortunately there wasn’t time to mention everything in the town during this appearance.
Sorry to the town and district councillors that were expecting to be buried on air. You don’t deserve any sort of publicity!
